The Casa della Giara is located in Giarre, a town in Etna, at about 128 m asl, very close to the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian coast; the Etna Park, with its ski and hiking slopes, is only a few kilometers away.
The house occupies a strategic position: 1.4 km from the motorway junction, in a panoramic and quiet residential area, a few steps from the historic city center and with a convenient parking always available; a few tens of meters away is the Chico Mendez children's playground, well equipped, with a bar / pizzeria and home to frequent cultural events.
The apartment is large and sunny, located on the ground floor and completely renovated (early 2023) in the typical Sicilian traditional style: the materials used, all eco-sustainable, are stone, terracotta, the finest handcrafted ceramics (Caltagirone, Santo Stefano di Camastra) and wood.
Each room has a large dedicated balcony; there is also a large patio with a ceramic table for outdoor dining.
Inside there is an interesting literary path, which, taking its cue from the name of the house, offers some suggestive and significant pieces by Pirandello, which inspire certain furnishing objects, creating a unique and engaging atmosphere.
La Casa della Giara has adopted the " pet friendly in Sicily " ribbon which guarantees the right comfort for four-legged friends and safety and hygiene for all guests.
Just under the house, belonging to the house itself, there is an equipped workshop for small bicycle repairs with everything that can be useful: tools, pressure washer, tripod and repair bench.
There is also a professional guide on site (MTB, bdc), a fully equipped gym at 200 meters. and a swimming pool that works even in winter (heated).
